1. What´s especially interesting in communication? (in your opinion)
2. How do you see your own communication competence?

Some had trouble finding this... so here we go. This is not totally mandatory (=you can just be "absent" on 2.11., but I recommend that you check the materials if they´re new to you.)
Naturally you´ll get feedback if you do the assignment!
1.Watch these 2 videos about public speaking + anxiety / stage fright
public speaking and presentations
2. Talk (=think) about the topic and try to answer these questions:
What happens when you feel anxiety / stage fright / nervous in front of an audience? (Physically.. mentally.. in your behavior..?)
Do you have any tools to deal with it? What helps? What makes public speaking easier?
What are your strengths as a public speaker?
What do you wish from the audience? What´s a good audience like?
3. Record your answers, 3-5min (individually or as a group)
First, create a structure. I recommend this:
(but you can do whatever you want..)
-How do you experience stage fright / anxiety in public speaking.. a couple of main points
-What helps? Explain different "tools" that might help
-What makes a good audience from your point of view?
When you know what you want to say, practice and make simple notes. If you´re in a small group, share the content in a way that everybody gets to say something. Record with panopto (panopto.aalto.fi) or with something else. Technical quality is NOT the point here. Use simple language and examples, feel free to be informal. It´s ok to improvise! Don´t take this super seriously. But.. if you want to, you could practice the contact with the camera (at least when you start speaking and when you finish). No need to make slides. Just a video with talking people.
