Exercise types
There are two exercise sets per week, each containing two problems to be solved in exercise sessions (mark your participation in a quiz below with a password given in the exercise class) and two problems to be handed in in written (submit pdf via MyCourses folders below by the strict dealine).
Each problem (of either type) carries an equal weight for determining the additional points to the exam.

Submitting solutions
- Solve in-class exercises in the corresponding exercise session and mark your active participation in the quiz below with the password you get from the session's teaching assistant.
- Submit written solutions to the hand-in exercises as a single pdf-file in the return folder below by the strict deadline (the folder closes at the indicated time).
NOTE: In each of the two exercise categories, at the end of the course the worst 2/12 submissions/sessions of each student are disregarded for the purposes of grading (determining additional points to the exam). No other individual exceptions will be made!

NOTE: The model solutions by no means represent the only correct way to solve any problem. There are most definitely omissions and typos. Please send your comments and suggestions to anton.vavilov@aalto.fi.
