General
Nanomaterials and Interfaces
This is a course focusing on understanding formation and behaviour of nanomaterials. The course aims at providing the students a solid understanding on surface and interfacial processes. On the course, you will learn why bulk and nanomaterials behave differently based on their atomic and nanoscale features. The course consists of lecture series, different types of exercise sessions and a group work presented as a poster. Welcome to learn!
Lectures:
Mondays 10.15-12.00 V2
Wednesdays 10.15-12.00 V2
Exercise sessions:
Thursdays 11.15-13.00 V2
Lecture topics include: Interactions between molecules, characterisation of nanomaterials, characterisation on molecular scale, quantum physics of nanomaterials, nanochemistry, properties of nanomaterials, nanofabrication, thins films, nanocarbons.
