Field study
In the field study assignment, the student observers two companies.
Task:
Select two different kinds of stores.
Suggestions: Electronics store (e.g. Power or Gigantti), telecommunications (e.g. DNA/ELISA/TELIA/APPLE), hardware store (K-Rauta, Starkki, Bauhaus, Puuilo), beauty, cosmetics, makeup and hair, Alko, Hobby related stores (music, photo, outdoors, sports, handicrafts), grocery stores, IT companies..
- Observe their physical and virtual sales, marketing, services and products.
- Fill in the Customer Teaching Canvas (CTC) twice for the both case companies:
§ 1: What you observe
§ 2: Ideas what the company could do but doesn’t
Fill in the Powerpoint canvas (font 10) for both cases. You'll end up having the CTC filled up four times! Combine all cases into the same document for the submission (Powerpoint, Word or PDF).
