Read the Council of Economic Advisers report “Big data and differential pricing” (available at https://obamawhitehouse.archives.gov/sites/default/files/whitehouse_files/docs/Big_Data_Report_Nonembargo_v2.pdf).
1. Discuss different ways how the firms could utilize new information technologies in their pricing practices.
2. Would you expect the sellers’ improved possibilities to harvest and utilize data on individual consumers to be mainly a good or a bad thing to consumers? Give possible arguments in both directions.
