- Credits. 5 ECTS. Optional student project allows to extend to 10 ECTS. The course can be completed fully online (zoom lecture hall).

- Grading. grade 1: 50-59 points. 2: 60-69. 3: 70-79. 4: 80-89. 5: 90-. Points can be collected via different activities:
- multiple-choice questions or "quizzes" (max 100 points)
- optional hands-on Labs where you implement FL on Raspberry PIs or using our course web-server (fljung.cs.aalto.fi).
- presenting solutions to exercises in lecture notes.(max. points indicated in notes)
- optional oral exam, either in person or via Zoom (max 100 points).
- bonus points for pointing out typos or lack of clarity in lecture notes.
- multiple-choice questions or "quizzes" (max 100 points)
- Prerequisites. sequences and their limits; fixed point iterations; concept of a gradient; matrix algebra; eigenvalues; basic network models (graphs); Bayesian estimation theory; scientific computing with Python (numpy, scikit-learn, networkx)
