Update on the assessment: You will need minimum 32 points from the exam to pass the exam and you need to pass the exam to pass the course. You get max 20 points from the matlab exercise. These will add up and the grading is below. It is the same grading as previous years in this course. 

40-53 p: 1; 54-65 p: 2; 66-77 p: 3; 78-89 p: 4; 90-100 p.: 5

Assessment: 80% of exam, 20% of Matlab exercises, in total 100 points: 0-39 Fail, 40-59 for 3, 60-79 for 4, 80-100 for 5. 

Matlab exercise assessment criteria: Accuracy and completeness of information and exercise

Exam: Mastering the lecture and reading material content.
