OK7 Costume Workshop

• Sewing studio, Wardrobe and Laundry from 8 to 20, every day (agree about your project with the workshop master and fill out the project notification form).
  
• Dyeing studio from 9 to 16, weekdays.
• Please avoid working alone.
  

• Take other people working in the facility into consideration.
• Keep the surfaces clean and recycle your waste appropriately.
• Store your project in the designated location. The floors and tables should be kept free for cleaning.
• Devices posing a fire risk must be switched off when leaving (steam iron unit, irons, heat press, heat glue gun, stoves).
• If anything breaks or is already broken, please notify the workshop master immediately.
• Do not hesitate to ask the workshop master for advice if you are unsure of how to use the workspace or equipment.

• ATEX painting room for contact glueing and spray painting.
• Dyeing studio for dyeing, painting, ageing and textile printing.
• Set Design Workshop for sanding.
• Metal Workshop is the only workshop where the use of a hot air blower is permitted.
• Laundry is for cleaning only, not for making a mess.

Dyeing Studio

• Follow the occupational safety instructions and keep yourself safe by using the protective equipment appropriate for your project.
• Always wear protective gloves and an apron, and, if necessary, respirator and safety goggles.
• Measure powder dyes under the fume hood.
• Solvents can only be used and stored in the Atex painting room.
• Switch off the appliances after use, and do not leave the hotplate unattended.
• Mark your container: whose it is, what it contains, how long it needs to be stored - > unmarked substances will be discarded.
• Eating and drinking are strictly prohibited.
• Wash used equipment and put everything back to the right place.
• Wipe all surfaces thoroughly.
• Do not store dyes in pots.
• The washing machine should be rotated once / cleaned after the dyeing programme.
