Learning Outcomes (valid 01.08.2018-31.07.2020): 

The objective of this course is to give the students an in-depth understanding of different issues related to digital economy. The main focus is on digital goods and services and platform mediated networks that enable or support the production and delivery of these. This integrating advanced level course is accomplished through readings and discussion, and independent studying is of great importance.

Assessment Methods and Criteria (valid 01.08.2018-31.07.2020): 

30% exam
70% assignments

NOTE! Attending to at least 50 % of lectures is mandatory.

Original requirement of at least 50% attendance removed, now
also possible to submit all assignments without lecture
attendance.

Spring 2020 Re-take exam replaced by independent project.

Elaboration of the evaluation criteria and methods, and acquainting students with the evaluation (applies in this implementation): 

1. Learning diaries based on the attended lectures and
class discussion (20%) with 50% mandatory lecture   attendance.

2. Written assignments (50%)

•      
20 % = 8 article reviews (individual work; 1-pagers) +
an extra assignment

•      
20% = 2 cases (group work)

•      
10% = 1 essay (individual work)

3. Final exam (30%)

This integrating advanced level course is accomplished
through readings and discussion, and independent studying is of great
importance.
