Opinnäytteet - Theses workspace is named after a person who advises or supervises a thesis on different degree levels and acts with a teacher role in the workspace. Students and doctoral candidates submit their thesis versions via this workspace in order to get comments on their work from her/him. Soon after a submission, a Turnitin similarity report is generated. Both the student and the teacher can exploit it in order to check whether good practices of scientific writing are followed when using sources. A teacher can comment on the version in its context online and for example, orally in a meeting.
A student can submit a draft version in the workspace also independently in order to get a Turnitin similarity report. A teacher can be consulted if needed.
If thesis versions are instructed to be submitted in another teacher led Turnitin activity in MyCourses (in a candidate thesis seminar for example), use that workspace primarily.
