    Principles of wireless system engineering. Basic models for wireless communication channel. Wireless link and link budget. Multiplexing principles (FDMA, TDMA, CDMA, OFDMA), duplexing (FDD, TDD), capacity, coverage and interference. Wireless personal area networks. Wireless local area networks. Mobile communication systems.

  • Applies in this implementation:

    – General view of wireless communications systems, historical perspective, overview of modern technologies,

    industry and standardization, trends.

    – Frequency bands for radio communications, channel and propagation models.

    – Multiple access and duplexing techniques, capacity, and interference.

    – Technologies, components, functions, medium access control, planning, optimization, interference

    management, trends in wide area networks/personal area networks.
