LEARNING OUTCOMES
At the end of the course the student will be able to:
Plan and design lighting installations and settings
Design, analyse and program lighting control systems
Perform lighting cost calculations and life-cycle analyses
Explain the factors involved in the assessment of lighting quality, energy efficiency and visual performance
Debate on the influence of light on health and well-being
Differentiate between visual and non-visual aspects of light
Classify and describe the various optical phenomena of the interaction between light and matter
Outline the influence of light on plant growth and development
Compare, evaluate and analyse the technical aspects and design criteria in lighting applications
