The course aims to offer all the information necessary for success in studies at Aalto University.
Upon completion of the course, you:

CONTENT, ASSESSMENT AND WORKLOAD
Content
Valid 01.08.2020-31.07.2022:
The course takes the whole first academic year. The course consists of lectures, active workshops, get-togethers, assignments, field visits and other activities all designed to provide students with comprehensive insights that will help identify and strengthen the skills and knowledge needed to achieve and have a positive study experience at Aalto University.
The course consists of four parts:
- Orientation week events (week 36)
- Lectures once a week (during period I)
- Get-togethers and academic advising meetings organized by the programme (throughout the first academic year)
- Preparing your personal study plan for your BSc degree (during periods III - IV)
Assessment Methods and Criteria
Valid 01.08.2020-31.07.2022:
Active participation and assignments. Specific assessment criteria will be published in MyCourses before the beginning of the course.
