LEARNING OUTCOMES

The students learn about the western woodcut method, the cutting of printing plates and printing. Printing material used: wood board.

    The course prepares the student for independent work in woodcut and opens up opportunities for expanding personal artistic expression.

    A student registering for the course must confirm participation by being present in the first meeting of the course at 9 am. Without confirmation, the place will be given those present. Passing the course requires 80 percent attendance and completion of the exercises.

    Minimum amount of participants is 8 students.

     

    The order of priority for admitting students:

    1. Exchange students in Aalto ARTS, 2 places (applies to courses taught in English)
    2. Minor students (applies to compulsory courses in the minor)
    3. Degree students in Aalto ARTS
