Drawing exercises: observing the forms, light, shadow and spatial impression. Sketches made at site e.g. in museums and in nature. Producing completed drawings out of sketches.

Personally guided exercises, discussions and critiques. Assessment Criteria: Development of personal expression, progress in perception-based drawing.

- Instruction
is based on exercises, lectures and critiques. Evaluation is based on
the activeness of the student in class, the development of skills and
knowledge and his or her ability to what he/she has learned. - Course completion requires at least 80% attendance and completion of assigned work given by the teachers by a specific deadline.
- Students are requested to notify the teacher via e-mail, of
any absence due to illness or another serious reason. - If you are sick, make a substitute assignment given by the teacher.
