Content

- Communication exercises where students use Swedish for instance in discussions, planning, decision-making, telling about things and introducing something or someone.
- Topics include leisure time and culture, the weather and calendar dates, family, work and everyday life.
- The course also covers adjectives, verbs, word order, nouns, expressions of time and ordinal numbers.
Assessment Methods and Criteria

Written examination. In addition to the examination, passing the course requires regular and active attendance and doing the requisite coursework.
Workload

24 - 36 h (teaching in small groups) + 43 - 55 h (independent work) + 2 h (final exam)

For international or Finnish students who have taken the course LC-5771 or equivalent or otherwise acquired equivalent knowledge of Swedish. The course does not fulfill the National Language Requirement (Swedish) or replace the test for it, nor is it intended as a preparatory course for the National Language Requirement Test.
Please note that the course will only be organised if at least 10 students register for it.
