LEARNING OUTCOMES

The focus of the course is on perception-based drawing in space. You will be able to observe and draw contours, scale, depth and perspective. You will develop in transferring the visual information into drawing. You will be able to represent structures and different qualities of textures through mark making.

CONTENT, ASSESSMENT AND WORKLOAD

Content

    On site working in different destinations. Working on large scale drawings, in order to relate the space around and the drawing to the physical size of the drawer. How to represent three dimensional -, physical - and at the same time sensual experience of the space?

Assessment Methods and Criteria

    Onsite working and exercises. Personal guidance, group discussions and critique.

    • Completing the course requires at least 80% attendance and completion of assigned work given by the teachers by a specific deadline.
    • Students are requested to notify the teacher via e-mail, whose classes you are
      absent from of any absence due to illness or another serious reason.
