Content

Students will be introduced to 3D graphics softwares such as Blender, Rhino and Grasshopper. They will learn basic methods for creating and modelling objects suitable for producing actual sculptures using 3D printing and laser cutter techniques. Students will be guided through a series of hands-on exercises that highlight 3d-modeling and they will be introduced to the same techniques as sculptors and architectural offices apply such as Tony Cragg, Nick Ervinck and Zaha Hadid.
Assessment Methods and Criteria

Individual and small group discussion and critique. Active participation in classwork. Successful completion of own project.
