- Write texts related to life and work situations
- Study and read longer texts
- Learn more grammatical structures of Chinese
- Distinguish and write about 150 characters
- Have collaborated in group work

CONTENT, ASSESSMENT AND WORKLOAD

Content

    - Be able to exchange simple ideas and basic information
    - Visit a hospital
    - Tell about your hobbies and interests
    - Introduce a location or environment
    - Ask for directions
    - Topic related Chinese culture
    - Learn about 150 new characters
    - Write short texts related to daily life
    - H5P interactive activities included

Assessment Methods and Criteria

  • valid for whole curriculum period:

    - Lectures 36 h, active participation (10%). (Passing the course requires 75% attendance in class.)
    - Group work and written assignments (40%)
    - Oral test and presentation (20%)
    - Written lecture exam (30%)

Workload

  • valid for whole curriculum period:

    Contact hours: 36 hrs. Group work, a simple presentation, preparation for oral and written exams: 45 hrs
