LEARNING OUTCOMES

- You will be able to put your oral and written Spanish skills to use particularly in your own professional field and in work situations.

- You will possess a command of the terminology of your field and be able to communicate fluently in various types of work situations.

- You will understand texts on different topics in the literature of your profession and know the most important jargon related to the topics.

- You will be able to write in the main genres needed for studies and in your own field of work.

CONTENT, ASSESSMENT AND WORKLOAD

Content

    The course familiarises students with current economic, technical, art, design or architectural topics and texts as well as with the terminology of the student s profession. The course includes writing assignments and oral presentations.

Assessment Methods and Criteria

    Passing the course requires regular attendance, active participation in class and independent work. The course comprises written assignments (30%), an oral presentation in the student s field of study (20%) and a final examination (50%).
