Content

Magnetism of electrons and atoms, magnetic ordering phenomena, domain theory and magnetization reversal, nanoscale magnetism, magnetization dynamics, experimental methods, applications of magnetic materials, magnetoresistance, recent topics in nanomagnetism and spintronics.
Assessment Methods and Criteria
valid for whole curriculum period:
Lectures and exercise sessions. One final exam. Solving the exercises will give bonus points for the exam.
