LEARNING OUTCOMES
After the course, student will be able to:
- explain the atomic structure and the basic principles of periodic table
- describe different types of chemical bonds in inorganic and organic compounds
- explain the significance of bonding for the structure and properties of matter, also from the point of view of applications
- write chemical reaction equations as well as know the basics of chemical equilibrium, and is able to apply them in practice
- understand how the structure of a molecule is connected to its reactivity
- work safely in a laboratory and document the work carried out in the laboratory
