LEARNING OUTCOMES

At course completion, you will be able:

- to communicate using familiar phrases in simple situations in and outside of work.

- to, e.g. introduce yourself and answer simple questions in French.

- to write short messages using familiar phraseology and grammatical constructions.

    Understanding the basic structures and vocabulary needed in everyday life and work and practising related simple communicative situations, and getting to know some customs of the French-speaking world.

Assessment Methods and Criteria

    1. Lectures 36 h, active participation in teaching both in class and independently (30%). 80% attendance in class is required. Registration must be confirmed by attending the first lecture.

    2. Written and/or oral assignments (20%)

    3. Written examination: 50%
