This is an advanced course in information systems research issues aimed to both IS doctoral students and M.Sc. students. The course consists of either 1) lectures, articles and/or seminar presentations and assigments, or 2) a virtual assignment on chosen topics of information systems. The topic and format varies semester by semester.

This course takes a deep dive into the realm of digital service management. We explore digital services as sold offerings in their many particularities. We cover different business models including freemium, pay-as-you-go, single purchase and SaaS. The course empahasizes a shareholder value perspective and brings in an professional investor angle. The course has a somewhat practical approach as it concentrates on the skills and activities of creating, developing, managing and finetuning a great digital service. Tools for leading the product team, versioning, optimizing the product-market fit, pricing, customer discovery, innovation adoption acceleration, team building and role management, internal workload prioritization, customer care and churn mitigation are among the topics.
