Please note! Course description is confirmed for two academic years, which means that in general, e.g. Learning outcomes, assessment methods and key content stays unchanged. However, via course syllabus, it is possible to specify or change the course execution in each realization of the course, such as how the contact sessions are organized, assessment methods weighted or materials used.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

After successful completion of the course, the student will be able to:

  1. Understand different components of transmission systems.
  2. Analyze transmission systems and understand the planning principles of transmission systems.
  3. Understand operation and control principles of transmission systems.
  4. Understand stability phenomena and faults in transmission systems.
  5. Carry out basic modelling work of transmission systems in simulation tools.
