LEARNING OUTCOMES

On successful completion of this course, students will learn about a range of key theories, philosophies, and articulated positions from which curatorial approaches can be constructed.

On successful completion of this course, students will be able to evaluate different curatorial and artistic strategies from the viewpoint of socio-political transformation.

On successful completion of this course, students will be able to apply critical thinking skills to analyse the current challenges in the field of curatorial practice.

    Curatorial Theory Expanded traverses key curatorial approaches, theories and modes of thinking that have shaped curatorial practice in an expanded sense. The course fosters innovative thinking, acting as a laboratory and incubator for creative critical inquiry and future curatorial projects.
