Content

    Course has varying contents that may change annually. Different workshops/study events are organized by majors of Art & Media. 

    This Art&Media Programme course is an intensive workshop offered during week 7 of period 3. Several version of this workshop may be offered and students should be careful in choosing the specific workshop identified in their personal study plans.

    On the course we will take a look at the different possibilities of black and white darkroom printing including both traditional methods and alternative techniques.

    After the course the student can:

    - Develop B&W film

    - Print gelatin silver print on fiber base paper in the darkroom

    - Experiment with ecological developers such as Caffenol and red wine

    - Use creatively the possibilities of chemistry in chemigram paintings

    - Tone gelatin silver prints with different toners

Assessment Methods and Criteria

    Minimum 80% attendance.
