LEARNING OUTCOMES

Understands the principles of programming languages and understands the wide variety of programming tasks in a wide variety of contexts. Understands the differences between low-level and high-level programming, and understands how programming languages can be used to tackle different problems at different abstraction levels. Understands the need to pick the right tools for the right job, and understands the need for polyglot programming in modern software engineering. Knows different programming paradigms and knows about programming languages that match these paradigms.
