LEARNING OUTCOMES
The student knows the national and international business environment of film and TV and the relevant legal questions and agreements and will be able to implement this insight as a creative producer.
The student recognizes relevant industry regulation and the significance of agreements in this field. The student is able to create a sustainable contractual framework and do risk management through out the life span of an audiovisual project. Improved negotation skills are an outcome of the course.
An enchanced understanding of copyright law and contract law are key both in terms of theory and through cases.

Contact teaching 32 h, independent work 49 h. Lectures, group and individual assignments and literature.
At least 80% participation in face-to-face teaching is mandatory to complete the course. If, due to absences, the student does not achieve the learning outcomes defined in the course description, the remaining 20% may have to be compensated as determined by the responsible teachers of the course.
All absences must be reported to the teachers in charge. The responsible teachers of the course will specify the necessary compensating assignments.

Participating in Arturo Delgado Perreira’s class. The participants present their projects, some of which are MA-graduation projects without producers.
This is a yearly tradition during these two courses. We join them, contribute, ask questions and give feedback to the directing students in a relaxed setting.
15.-15.30 Wrap of the course and introduction of the assignments to be done after the lectures of the course.
