LEARNING OUTCOMES
The focus of the course is on perception-based drawing in space. You will be able to observe and draw contours, scale, depth and perspective. You will develop in transferring the visual information into drawing. You will be able to represent sturctures and different qualities of textures through mark making.

CONTENT, ASSESSMENT AND WORKLOAD
Content
valid for whole curriculum period:
On site working in different destinations. Working on large scale drawings, in order to relate the space around and the drawing to the physical size of the drawer. How to represent three dimensional -, physical-, and at the same time sensual experience of the space?
applies in this implementation
You can observe space by drawing. You can observe the central lines in the space with the plain eye and know how to transfer them to your drawing. By drawing you can create the impression of depth in the space you observe. You can transfer the scale of the space you are observing, as well as the perspective to your drawing. Trained to embody the surfaces and structures you observe in the space with different drawing gestures.
The drawing course is based on on-site work in various environments. The focal point of the course is motor making to a sufficiently large size, whereby the creator's own physical size is compared to both the space to be worked on and the drawing itself. In the course, we observe how the creator can convey his own three-dimensional, sensory and physical spatial experience to his drawing. The materials used in the course are marked on the list, which I sent before. On each day of the course, the students draw a practice work on site in different drawing locations. Working days are structured around the spatial perspective chosen by the student. I visit each student, talking and giving feedback. At the end of the course, we hold a group feedback, the purpose of which is to stimulate peer feedback and to share questions related to drawing the space together. The evaluation is based on the student's motivation and dedication to the exercises and the content discussed in the course.
