CONTENT, ASSESSMENT AND WORKLOAD
Content

- Communication exercises where students use Swedish for instance in discussions, planning, decision-making, telling about things and introducing something or someone.
- Topics include leisure time and culture, the weather and calendar dates, family, work and everyday life.
- The course also covers adjectives, verbs, word order, nouns, expressions of time and ordinal numbers.
Assessment Methods and Criteria

- Written test 30%- Oral test 30%- Active participation, and written and oral assignments completed during the course (40%). Continuous assessment.
Workload
valid for whole curriculum period:
24 - 36 h (teaching in small groups) + 43 - 55 h (independent work) + 2 h (final exam)

Further Information

- For international or Finnish students who have taken the course LC-5771 or equivalent or otherwise acquired equivalent knowledge of Swedish.
- The course does not fulfill the National Language Requirement (Swedish) or replace the test for it, nor is it intended as a preparatory course for the National Language Requirement Test.
- Teaching Language : Swedish, English is used as a supplementary language for teaching in the course.
Please note that the course will only be organised if at least 10 students register for it.
