Content

This course aims at enhancing futures thinking skills of students and is especially designed for students interested in tackling challenges related to sustainability and resiliency of future space and land use. The students will gain theoretical understanding of futures studies as well as learn to apply different tools and methodologies in practical oriented cases related to built environment.

Registration for the course takes place on Sisu (sisu.aalto.fi). The course is offered only to students in the Master's Programme in Real Estate Economics and Master's Programme in Urban Studies and Planning (real estate specialization), and those exchange students who have been pre-admitted to the course.
There is a quota of 7 students from the Master's Programme e.g. in Spatial Planning and Transportation Engineering, Architecture, Building Technology, Geoinformatics and Water and Environmental Engineering at Aalto.
