LEARNING OUTCOMES
After completing the course the student: -can explain the principles of discrete-time modeling and computer control. -can explain the common ideas and differences between analog and digital control. -can design, simulate and implement discrete-time controllers (for example discretized PID or state feedback controllers). -can apply the Principle of Optimality. -can design and implement optimal controllers and observers (LQR, Kalman filter, model predictive controller).
