Content

The course introduces theories, tools and methods of critical and transformative futures with references to long-term, systemic change for sustainability. The conceptual constructs of the course are based on poststructural, decolonized, feminist and post-normal schools of futures studies. Through these conceptual tools, the students analyse images of futures produced by diverse actors in socio-ecological-technical systems critically, challenge their underlying assumptions and propose alternatives.
