CONTENT, ASSESSMENT AND WORKLOAD
Content

The course addresses global aspects of sustainability, especially ecological sustainability and responsibility in the context of performing arts, performance design (costume design, lighting design, scenography and sound design) studies, designer’s artistic work and working conditions in the field. The course will explore ecological practice in performance design: sustainability discourse, research, case examples, materiality, interconnectedness and calculative principles through introductions, lectures, discussions and workshops. The course will include experiments and artistic approaches. The final content and output of the course will be specified at a later stage.
Assessment Methods and Criteria

Students' development during the course, motivation, attendance and active participation in discussions, independent work and completion of assignments.
