LEARNING OUTCOMES

The course works as an introduction to ARTS-A0229 Comics Project. Through exercises and discussions students familiarize with an artistic work process and the limiting factors of it. Students learn to schedule and plan their works and understand the principles of the art form and its possibilities in relation to their own ways of working.

    The main working method during the course is guided and independent work, group discussions and critiques. The projects under development discussed thoroughly with the group.

    Registration:

    Minimum amount of participants is 8 students. Maximum amount of participants is 16 students. 

    Prioritetsordningen är följande:

    1. Students in the Comics Expression minor
    2.  Aalto ARTS students 

    After the registration has closed, SISU conducts a raffle to allocate all the seats while considering the possible prioritisation order stated above. If there are more registrants than available seats, ten (10) students from the remaining applicants are drawn and placed on a waiting list in numerical order. On the first day of the course, these students may check for available seats in case of no-shows. Any available seats are then filled in numerical order.
