CONTENT, ASSESSMENT AND WORKLOAD

Content

    This course further expands the students language proficiency and cultural knowledge. The course includes such topics as brand names, their development, video games, music and musical genre, and the diversity of Hispanic cultures.

    Students learn to describe experiences, events, preferences and desires, talk about their plans and give short defences of their own opinions.

    On completing the course, students will manage well in most of the communication situations they may encounter when travelling in the Spanish-speaking world.

     

     

Assessment Methods and Criteria

    Passing the course requires regular attendance, active participation and independent work. Regular and active participation in classwork. 80% attendance in class is required. Registration must be confirmed by attending the first lecture.
