CONTENT, ASSESSMENT AND WORKLOAD

Content

    The course gives an overview of new and emerging user interface paradigms that go beyond traditional desktop and mobile interfaces. These include tangible interaction, multimodal interaction (audio, haptic, smell and taste), augmented and virtual reality, and the various techniques and technologies used to implement them. A significant proportion of the course is spent on hands-on project work, where students will collaborate to implement a novel user interface using electronic prototyping tools and software.
