    - Expanding vocabulary related to everyday life and work (e.g. food, travel, expressions of time)
    - Expanding knowledge of the grammatical structures of Finnish (locative cases, taytyy, parts of speech)
    - Practice situations related to everyday tasks and social life (shopping, medical visits)

    Teaching time 14.1.-27.2.2025. Teaching hours online on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 17-19. 

    Teaching hours are not recorded. Students are expected to be present at the lectures.

    Minimun one writing assignment.

    Written and oral examination.

    The examinations will be held as a remote examinations in MyCourses. The teacher will give further information on examinations.



Assessment Methods and Criteria

    What is needed to complete the course:

     Active partisipation to the lessions and independent work.

     Minimum one submitted and approved writing assignment out of the three assignments given.

    Written exame 4.3.2025. To pass the exam, you must get at least 50% of the assignments correct

    Participation in the oral exam.

     The oral exam is taken in pairs. The exam takes about 15-20 minutes per person.
