The theses made previously about your topic contain a broad variety of useful information. You can use them as a point of comparison in, for example, issues concerning the length and structure of your own thesis. They may also contain various references that might be useful for your own work. Studying the previously made theses also reveals the importance of properly used conventions of scientific communication.
A significant amount of the newly made theses and dissertations are available in an electronic form through Aaltodoc publication archive. You will find, for example, the references of the previously made Master's theses and doctoral dissertations also through Aalto-Finna.
The older theses concerning the topics of the technical schools and architecture are found through the Inssi database.
