Assignments and preliminary work
Preliminary work
Preliminary work may be associated to
some of the sessions. This usually means watching a video, reading an
article, or something similar, before attending the session. The
preliminary work becomes available one week before the theory session
for which it is to be completed. There is usually no need to submit the
preliminary work. It is assumed that everyone has done it before the
lecture and therefore has the required knowledge without any further
lecturing. The topics may also be discussed in class.
Assignments
There are two kinds of assignments. Practice session group assignments become
available at the start of each practice session on Fridays. These are
worked on in groups during the practice sessions and then submitted at
the end of the session if ready, and if not, then in one week together
with the individual assignments. Each student submits their own copy. Individual assignments become
available after the practice sessions on Fridays, and are submitted in
one week, before the start of the next practice session. Both sets of assignments must be submitted by all students to complete the work.
If you cannot attend the practice session, then you should do the group
assignments on your own in addition to the individual assignments.
Hint: it is easier to work on the individual assignments if one has attended the practice session and group work.
