Save the first draft on the tab "Draft 1", the second one on "Draft 2" etc. The file is not stored in the student papers repository (comparison database) although your consent for it is asked. An originality report starts to generate right after submission, but it may take from few minutes up to several hours (24 h at maximum) to complete. You can resubmit on the same tab, if you wish to make corrections to your work based on the originality report before getting feedback from your supervisor about the submission. Note, that an originality report of a resubmission generates only after 24 hours. If you have already got comments from your supervisor on the document, do not submit another version on the same tab any more as the comments would disappear by a resubmission. Submit the next version on the tab "Draft 2" etc. See additional information about Turnitin submission. As you have submitted, email your supervisor the web address (URL)of the submission inbox.
