Instructions for HOME EXAM and example exam paper TiedostoPdf-tiedosto
Here are the instructions for the home exam that will appear on the exam paper when it is posted on Monday (7.12.2020) morning at 09:00. You will also find a sample exam paper so you can see the type of questions that will come up in the real exam.
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:
· Answer all questions.
· Total 100 points. Each question carries a maximum of 10 points.
· As this is a “home exam” you shall use literature sources (references) to support your answers. The answers to all questions require references.
· Remember to use proper citation techniques (e.g. 1-3 citations/answer).
· Compile a list of references at the end of the answer paper.
· Use peer-reviewed scientific journal articles, patents, standards and/or scientific books as references. (i.e. they should be reliable!)
· Please feel free to use either freehand illustrations or images you find from the web/articles/etc. to support your answers. Don’t forget to provide the source (reference) for the image if it is not your own.
· Points will be deducted from answers without proper citations!
· There is no limit to the length of the answers, although most answers will require no more than around half a page (single spacing, 12 pt. font).
