  • In addition to the Perusall -readings and weekly problems, the course also includes an optional writing project. This lets you investigate a spectroscopy topic that interests you. It awards an extra 15 % of the total course points.

    • You can choose your own topic or pick one from the list below. If you have your own topic, please email it to me before you start writing.
    • The length should be - 8 pages.
    • The deadline is 7.3.2020
    • Your essay should reference one textbook and at least 2 scientific articles on the topic. The idea is that you need to search for relevant information by yourself.
    • Instructions for the project work:

      • Include a title page with the name of the project, your name, and date.
      • Set the line spacing to 1.5. Fonts and marginals you can choose yourself.
      • Don't be afraid to include Figures or other clarifying material. Remember to cite your sources, though.
      • The the length of the work is not a grading criteria as long as it's in the 5-8 page range (with the title page included).
