  • Junction Peer Coaching Exercise (3 and 5 cr students)

    The three and five credit version of the course contains a peer coaching process which will be accomplished in groups of three students. The coaching process consists of three 1.5 h peer group meetings/discussions the group will organise autonomously according to the instructions. The coaching process is

    • To support each other in preparation for the Junction event and in learning from the leadership experience
    • To get an experience on supportive and appreciative peer discussions
    • To  exercise the primary helping skills –listening and  inquiring appreciatively

    Two of the sessions must take place before the Junction and one after. Each session will have a special topic and instructions will be given separately to each session. The group will produce and submit to MyCourses a short summary from each session. The third (last) report will serve as a summary report from the whole experience.

     The topics and timeline of the peer coaching sessions are following:

    1. Personal leadership and team building (latest on 16.10.)
    2. Getting ready (before the Junction event)
    3. Reflection on the experience as a whole  (latest on 16.11.)
