Topic outline

  • Exercise problems and instruction on attending the online exercises will be given here. Please note that all the exercises are given online only!

    Submit your homework assignments on time - not compulsory, but highly recommended - max 12 points.  When exercises are graded, you receive 0, 1 or 2 points from every submitted solution. You can calculate your final exercise points by multiplying all the points by 0.6 and rounding it to the closest integer. Thus you can obtain max round(10*2*0.6)=12 points. 

    Participate to weekly computer exercises (group 1, group 2, group 3, group 4 OR group 5) and to weekly theory exercises (group 1, group 2, group 3 OR group 4) - not compulsory, but highly recommended. 

    Grading is based on the total points as follows: at least 18p (or 12p from the exam) -> 1, at least 21p -> 2, at least 24p -> 3, at least 27p -> 4, at least 30p -> 5. Please note that it is not possible get grade 5 without submitting solutions to the homework problems. 

    PLEASE SUBMIT YOUR SOLUTIONS TO THE HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENTS, SEPARATELY FOR THEORY AND COMPUTER, EACH WEEK ON TIME AND ALWAYS AS A SINGLE PDF-FILES. IF YOU DO NOT SUBMIT YOUR SOLUTIONS ON TIME AS A PDF-FILE, THEY ARE NOT GRADED. YOU CAN FIND THE HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENTS FROM THE EXERCISE PROBLEM FILES (COMPUTER AND THEORY). YOU CAN FIND THE SUBMISSION BOXES BY SCROLLING DOWN THIS PAGE. THE DEADLINES ARE GIVEN IN THE SUBMISSION BOXES. THE VERY FIRST DEADLINE IS NOVEMBER 7th AT 10 p.m..

    NOTE THAT YOUR HOMEWORK SOLUTIONS ARE GRADED BUT NOT COMMENTED. THE CORRECT SOLUTIONS ARE GIVEN IN THE ZOOM EXERCISES ONLY. SOLUTIONS FOR THE HOMEWORK PROBLEMS ARE NOT GIVEN IN MYCOURSES WEBPAGE. IT IS POSSIBLE TO GET FULL EXERCISE POINTS EVEN IF YOUR SOLUTION IS ONLY PARTIALLY CORRECT.
