  • Muo-E1003 Innovative Fashion Design

Innovative Fashion Design course opens up new ways of approaching the shaping of garments and the use of material through practice-led studiowork; You are challenged to think about shaping and structuring of garments in an unorthodox way, as well questioning the effects of different materials to the shape. The course takes into account emerging technologies, digitalization, neighbouring disciplines and sustainable viewpoints, and considers how these developments affect the ways in which design is carried out.

    Structure and assignments

You will explore and study a topic/ theme based on an assignment as a starting point for your individual course project. At the end of the course this is presented alongside a portfolio of your research.
