      Solving the issues with Matlab R2021b:

      Add a Transfer Fcn (Transfer Function) also just after Step input. This will make the first input smoother (less "aggressive") and help the work of the solver (solver settings should be changed also, slightly).



      Solver settings (Ctrl-E): probably the Max step size has to be changed (tightened) ... from "auto" -> 0.010 s (or something like that).
