    Due to Covid-19 all lectures and exercises are given as online video sessions. 

    The homeworks have been designed so that they can be completed independently from home based on the course material (i.e. lecture slides and/or course books). 

    However, if you feel that you need additional support with the homeworks or otherwise, we provide online assistance via slack channel, where you can ask advice from teaching assistants or other students. The detailed instructions are below.


    Slack 

    The course has a slack team "cs-e4850-2021.slack.com" to which you can sign up with your Aalto email via     https://join.slack.com/t/cs-e4850-2021/signup . Slack is a chat-based communication tool, which you can use to connect with the teaching assistants and other students. For example, if you have a technical problem or a question regarding some homework task, you can post it to the slack channel and others can help. The questions should be posted to the common channels in order to avoid overloading the teaching assistants with direct messages. We also encourage students to help each other via slack so that anyone can reply the questions (i.e. if you see a question with which you can help, please go ahead and reply, because there may be a delay before the teaching assistants notice the question). Everyone should solve the tasks by themselves and copying other person's solutions is not ok, but we encourage you to discuss the problems and solutions also with other students if you need advice.
