Topic outline

  • This section will contain short slide sets of theory materials that comprise the operations analysis toolbox that is useful for the case applications that are analyzed.

The materials are a recap of fundamentals of basic operations management models that you've seen in your previous OM courses and that are covered in textbooks. In this advanced course we focus more on applications and the theory materials are provided for support.

      Monte Carlo with Excel Folder

Below you can find an example spreadsheet for doing MC simulation with spreadsheets:
      • ICU Hospital Beds MC: Example file with few examples presented also on the attached recording.
      • MonteCarlito_v1_10: Monte Carlo macro excel, you can copy this and use it to generate your own simulation analysis on a new sheet and then run the Monte Carlo macro to run series of MC simulations.
